Give us a smile!

Tyler smiles all the time these days - as well as gurgles and goos - he seems to be very happy most of the time :)

Athletics Day at Kindy

Mums were invited to participate in a folk dance with their children at our kindergarten athletics day. It was a penguin dance so the children made masks to wear. Very cute and lots of fun.

Is he Japanese?

Having laid the table for Noah's breakfast I continued to work in the kitchen. I turned around to find Noah eating his cornflakes with chopsticks!! What a funny lad!

(He's wearing his school uniform, the badge on the sleeve lets his teachers know that he walks, bikes or drives to kindy rather than taking the bus. I make him put his apron on so his clothes don't catch any crumbs.)

Spelling Bee

He's pretty clever ... and he adores his mum!

Is this cute or what?

Despite Tyler's dry skin and pimples I think he looks so cute in this picture (his skin is improving by the way). He's having a little chill-out in the bouncy chair - looks like he is enjoying it.He is also quite partial to afternoon naps on the floor.

Cars, Trucks and Things that Go

Being a boy Tyler is already showing a fondness for wheels and speed! He went for his first burn in the tractor a few days ago. Of course he promptly went to sleep!

A postcard - Wish you were here

Dear Nana and Grandad,
It's no fun here without you. Nobody picks me up and the food is terrible.
Love from Tyler xxx

Harry Potter

An old skirt of mine and a piece of black felt magically transformed into a wizard's costume. And a great shot of our dining room and kitchen. Still have all the old furniture but it's not too bad. The glass block wall to the left is our office. The big ranch sliders (three of them) are on the south facing wall and open onto a deck, the garden and parking spaces.

Happy days

Looking pretty good a few days after Tyler was born. Having a laugh with my big boy.
